It’s not new that the crowd loves BMW 5 Series and the E39 BMW 540i is no exception.
The 4-liter engine models, both 540i and M5, are powerful enough to meet the standards of most of the people. The 540i you see in this post delivers 461 HP, a pretty impressive number considering that it comes with 290 HP straight from the factory.
To help achieve this power increase, a supercharger was installed. While doing that, the owner also decided to change the exhaust system and give it a deeper, more satisfying growl. You can hear it in the video above.
The investment like this costs around 7,000 euros – a pretty serious expense. But for a true fan, no price is too high.
