Meet the BARON – BMW 5 Series Limited Edition

In the honor of BMW’s 100th anniversary, the Japanese branch of BMW presents the new limited edition of the BMW 5 Series – BARON, “for the real gentleman”.

The edition will consist of 200 units and the sales are starting on the April 29th.

The car will come in two color choices – Mineral Grey and Mediterranean Blue. As for the interiors, the choice will consist of Dakota leather in Veneto Beige and Oyster, or Fine Line Ansorajitto Wood trim. Its production is based on the 523d M Sport models with clean diesel engines.

Some of the equipment will include:

  • 19in M light-alloy wheels
  • double-spoke styling 351M
  • adaptive LED headlights
  • aluminium line from BMW Individual
  • interior badge with an engraved serial number
  • coat hanger
  • aroma diffuser
  • leather key case with serial number

Under the hood, the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder TwinPower Turbo diesel engine will produce 184 HP and 380 Nm of torque. The price for each of the units will be around $70,000.
