2017 BMW i3 Gets an Update

The first electric car from the BMW factory, the BMW i3, gets its first big update this year. The biggest complaint the owners of i3 had is definitely the range of only 130 km. Besides that, the i3 is a fantastic little car that’s even been praised by its thief on one occasion.

The announced upgrade focuses on the major drawback – the range. With a new 94 Ah battery, the i3 will be able to go for around 180 km on a single charge, which will improve its value drastically. And even though the car has been receiving only positive critics for its interior, design, and driving dynamics, some other upgrades will be included as well.

The estimated range may even be increased if the air condition and heating system are not in use, and there is an ECO Pro+ mode that’s also there to help prolong the battery life.
