Karim Habib, Former Head of Design, Leaves BMW for Infiniti

Karim Habib, now-ex BMW Head of Design, has left the company and switched to Infiniti. Habib had been at the position since 2012. He was the name behind many amazing BMW designs. However, he seems to have gotten a better offer as he decided to join the Japanese brand as Chief Designer.

Habib has already left BMW once. Back in 2009, he switched to Mercedes-Benz, after having worked in BMW since 1998. In 2011, he changed his mind and came back to the Bavarian company.

Let’s hope he does some great work at Infiniti – the company surely needed someone great on the Chief Designer position.
