Heidfeld and Kubica Secured for 2008

With only 6 races remaining in the 2007 Formula One season, teams are starting to think about the 2008 season.

BMW has officially confirmed that their current top drivers, Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld, will continue to drive for BMW in the 2008 season.

This puts an end to all the rumors about Alonso leaving McLaren and going to BMW unless Alonso wants to be a test driver for BMW .

Heidfeld has been very competitive lately. He has been able to hang in there with the McLaren and Ferrari drivers in the past couple races. With BMW looking very strong, lets see if they can push even harder and give Ferrari and McLaren something to worry about, if not this season then hopefully next season.
