Interview With Head of Product Management for BMW 5 Series

All the automotive magazines are writing about one topic right now: the new 2017 BMW 5 Series. This latest model is dubbed G30 and it’s a great improvement compared to the older models. Here’s what the Head of Product Management for the BMW 5 Series, Dr. Wolfgang Hacker, had to say about it.

First, he answered how the new car’s steering is changed: “We tried to give the car a great road feedback”. About the car itself, he said: “It’s really a car for every occasion”.

However, we’re used to the fact that BMW doesn’t know limits, and Mr. Hacker confirmed that the new 5er is not the best thing we’re going to see in a while: “The M5 will be even another step up from [the M550i]”.

Talking about the possibility for the 5 Series GT to evolve into the 6 Series GT, he said: “That’s a bit too early to discuss”.
