BMW recalls 21,000 cars from Chinese Market

BMW has recently faced issues with their voluntary recall of almost 200,000 vehicles in the U.S.A. Now, BMW is facing yet another blow. More than 21,000 luxury sedans from the Chinese market is now being recalled. This is due to a contaminated lubrication inside the vacuum pump that results to faulty brake boosters. This defect can cause the brake system to malfunction.

The recall includes 21,383 imported BMW 5, 6 and 7 Series made between Dec 14, 2001, and Nov 23, 2009, and 388 Rolls-Royce Phantom luxury cars made between Jan 1, 2003 and Nov 30, 2009. This recall is not a very good way to start a growing presence in the Chinese market.
