The next generation BMW 1 Series will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2011. As the world premiere gets closer, a prototype has been spotted in its final evaluation phase wearing less camouflage. This latest spy shot reveals some important design details such as the creased hood and the more luxurious appearance more similar to the Series.
In 2013, BMW will add two more 1 Series variants to their line-up. In 2014, BMW is planning to introduce a Gran Turismo version of the new 1 Series dubbed the 1 Series GT — a 5-door vehicle bordering between a hatchback, wagon and sedan.
