After 4 months since the 2013 BMW M6 Convertible was last spotted, it appears yet again in Northern Sweden. This M6 prototype now wears the production M6 bumper beneath the heavy camouflage. It also has quad exhausts, huge front brakes, and winter wheels for testing purposes only.
This vehicle will have the same engine as the upcoming M5: the turbocharged 8 cylinder motor from the X5 and X6 M. The BMW S63 engine, a 4.4L twin turbo, twin scroll, direct injection will most likely get additional so that it will reach at least 585 horsepower. The exterior of this vehicle shows a more angular approach to styling, just like the X5M/X6M and the 1M.
The 2012 M6 Convertible is expected to be revealed in September 2012.
