The 2016 BMW M2 is spotted near Munich. With very close photos, the proportions of the new compact M car is revealed, including wider wheel arches and wider track which features front and rear axle suspension technology from the BMW M4 Coupe and BMW M3 Sedan.

It will be most likely powered by an updated version of the N55 TwinPower 3.0 liter engine (N55B30T0) with 370 hp, in both manual and automatic transmissions.
