BMW is finally getting ready to introduce the new generation, electric models that they have been promoting for years. The BMW iX and BMW i4 might have been released by now, but we’re about to see them on the roads. Moreover, the Brits confirmed its launch to the American Audience on June 1st at a special event in Los Angeles.
Each car will hold a media event set to take place on June 1st. The Grove will be hosting the new immersive BMW brand experience in Los Angeles. It will also be the official opening of the SPACE by BMW venue, which will be open to the public until November 30th. BMW will curate a two-story, gallery-inspired brand experience in the event. It will be featuring vehicle displays from BMW, BMW M, BMW I MINI, and BMW Motorrad.
The BMW iX and i4 debuts are just the beginning, said Uwe Dreher, VP of marketing for BMW of North America. “We wanted to do something special to introduce these new vehicles,” Dreher says. “This is why we’ve created a brand platform in one of the most important electric vehicle markets in the world.”
Dreher also mentions that SPACE goes beyond just vehicle debuts and displays. “We will have a full schedule of programming and events which will create opportunities to engage and connect with consumers,” Dreher added.
SPACE by BMW will be open to spread awareness and enthusiasm about BMW’s electric future throughout the next six months. The venue will host different customer and stakeholder events that will include partnerships in art, music, and lifestyle. Also, Marvel collaboration in support of the upcoming films “Black Widow” and “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.”
If you’re in the place, you may want to take a look. There will be opportunities to test drive BMW’s latest plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.
