BMW’s joint venture with Chinese based company Brilliance will definitely help Brilliance China Automotive Holdings to recover from their losses last year due to the global economic difficulty. Their expected profit from the BMW-Brilliance venture is enough to recoup what they have lost last year.
In fact, there is already a 50% sales increase for BMW sedans by BMW Brilliance in just the first half of 2010 compared to the first half of 2009.
The very strong demand for BMW cars in China is a great factor in this sales increase. Taking advantage of this good market will not only benefit BMW, but Brilliance as well.
