BMW dealer holds “drive for the cure” in Dubuque

Like every year, the Crevier BMW, North America’s largest dealer, held their program to raise money for the cure of breast cancer to Susan G. Komen Foundation. The event was “drive for the cure” and was held at Santa Ana dealership. People of Dubuque, Lowa, were given free test drives of Susan G. Komen Special Edition BMWs, around the city, and for every mile driven, one dollar was donated by Crevier BMW. The sales executive were asked not to promote the sale of the cars, but test-drives. The total donation from test-drives collected for the day was $5616.
 
It was a major event including a silent auction and a lunch served thereafter. It also gave a due recognition to breast cancer heroes of the orange county’s.
The objective of the event was to raise money for finding the cure for this severe disease, breast cancer, which affects one out of every seven women in US. It’s served the purpose and the awareness of this disease amongst the general public. The total money collected was $6959. Crevier BMW, has been holding such events from last 11 years and has raised alot of money.
Don Crevier, Crevier BMW president said that he and his team were very proud to be a part of this social event and being associated with Susan G. Komen Foundation, who is doing a fantastic work towards eradicating this fatal disease amongst women in US.
