BMW will debut the 3 series cabrio in October this year. Powered by the same engines as the coupe, and is equipped with a retractable steel roof which folds completely into the boot. The current convertible will continue to be built until the end of this year, by then a total 270 000 units of this model will have been built and sold. The new 3-series convertible will hit the showrooms in March 2007
