In Monaco, luxury cars are everywhere. Driving a Ferrari 458 there is like driving a Ford F-150 in the US. Thus, people there are no longer surprised to see extraordinary cars driving by. To attract more attention to their cars, people in Monaco do all sorts of tricks. This BMW 1M Coupe driver has one up his sleeve with his ridiculously loud car.
In the video, you can see that he was surrounded by supercars. All the other cars there were tuned and had good-sounding exhausts. To their surprise, the 1M had an even louder one. Perhaps, it is the loudest exhaust we’ve ever seen on a BMW.
The sound is insane! It is like listening to an AK-47. This sound is not what you’d expect for a twin-turbo 3-liter inline 6-cylinder. For some enthusiasts, this may be music to their ears. However, it clearly is not for everybody.
In this case, the people of Monaco wasn’t too thrilled about noise. At one point in this video, people actually got scared inside the famous Monaco tunnel. The people did not only cover their ears from the sound, their eyes too! It was a testament that they were really scared of this beast.
This car belongs to a Swiss tuner, Team Narex. It is most likely an experiment to see how loud a 1M Coupe could sound on overrun.
