2024 BMW i5 eDrive40 (G60) Dazzles in Tanzanite Blue

After unveiling the BMW i5 M60 in Frozen Deep Grey, BMW UK now showcases the radiant Tanzanite Blue Metallic. Another signature hue of BMW. Displayed here is the BMW i5 eDrive40, adorned in this sophisticated blue. Beyond the M Sport package, this executive sedan elevates its allure with the M Sport Pro edition, enriched by extended Shadow Line details. These enhancements include kidney grilles and a sleek black window trim.

The 20-inch star-spoke 938 M Bicolor Jet Black wheels beautifully complement the Tanzanite Blue Metallic finish. These wheels enhance the look and highlight the red brake callipers from the M Sport brakes. It’s a key feature of the comprehensive M Sport Pro package. Would you prefer a different hue? BMW offers these callipers in both blue and black.

Naturally, BMW offers a plethora of exterior colour choices. For the G60 5 Series, pick from timeless shades like Black Sapphire, Phytonic Blue, Carbon Black, Mineral White, and Alpine White. For a bolder statement, opt for Oxide Grey or Sophisto Grey. Embrace modernity with Brooklyn Grey and Cape York Green. And if you seek a unique matte finish, consider Frozen Pure Grey, Frozen Tanzanite Blue, or Frozen Deep Grey to personalize your ride truly.

Positioned at the rear, the eDrive40’s single electric motor imparts unique driving dynamics, even if it’s less potent than the i5 M60. Producing 335 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, this electric marvel ensures power on demand. Activate Boost Mode, and you gain an additional 26 horsepower to a notable 317 HP. Leveraging this power with launch control, the i5 eDrive40 dashes from 0 to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds.

With an EPA-rated electric range of 295 miles and 356 miles per the WLTP, the i5 eDrive40 boasts impressive mileage. BMW has plans to launch an xDrive variant of the i5 eDrive40, though it won’t be immediate.
