The BMW i3 is an Outlier in Cabin Design

Car designs are basically inspired by the needs and demands of the consumers, or simply what’s popular at a certain point in time. Thus, it is common for cars, even from different automakers, to have slightly similar designs in a certain time frame, and this is especially true for cabin design. Gone are the days when automakers used to go gaga in designing their own unique interior, so much so that no interiors actually look alike five or six decades ago. The reality is that modern cars are all very similar on the inside, and then came the BMW i3. It is definitely an outlier in terms of cabin design.

The moment you step into a BMW i3, you are transported into a different world. It not only looks different, it feels different from the rest because of all the elements that were carefully chosen by BMW. The downside is that it will take some time for the driver to figure out how to control and operate it and its systems. This is a natural thing since we’ve all been used to what most cars usually have.

The reality is that there’s nothing else like the cabin of the BMW i3 on the market. The new features are fascinating but the futuristic look is charming.
