Rendering of the 2017 BMW 5 Series

The new generation of the BMW 5 Series will be influenced by the 7 Series’ design.

5 series

While the current 5er looks pretty nice and sharp, there is a rumor that the new one will adopt some design features of the 7er and thus become bigger and more elegant.

In their usual manner, the guys from AutoBild created a render of how they believe the 2017 G30 BMW 5 Series will look like.

As you can see, they have taken some 7 Series features, such as the headlights and grille design, and implemented them in the 5 Series’ exterior. The LED fog lights and air vents remind us of the 7 Series’ M Sport package, which just confirms the theory stated above.

All we can say is that this render looks really good and that it would be awesome if the final product was something like this. It’s sharp, edgy, and aggressive, and will certainly have plenty of fans and happy owners across the globe.
