BMW i3 Thief Was Being Recorded All Along

Here’s something you don’t see every day. An i3 was stolen, but the dash cam recorded everything, including the thief’s amazed reaction.

It’s a better commercial than BMW could’ve hoped for. You can clearly hear the awe of the thief as he drives the i3 away. He certainly didn’t expect it to be so smooth and quick.

As Telegraph reports, only one day passed before the car was returned to the owner who tracked it down via a GPS system, not far from the place where it was stolen.

The i3 is known for not being your usual electric vehicle, as it was built in an innovative way. It uses new materials, looks different, and reaches 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds.
