Tuningwerk, a German tuner, reveals their latest project based on the BMW 1 Series M Coupe: the 1M RS. The tuning package includes visual and power upgrades like improved aerodynamics, a more aggressive body kit, performance brakes and suspension, and a sportier interior.
From the standard 340 horsepower, it is given a boost of up to 521 hp and 614 Nm of torque (453 lb-ft) from 2,800 rpm. Top speed is now at 300 km/h (186 mph). The car also has a shortened the transmission of 3.25 so it makes less turns to each wheel revolution. Changing it to 3.45 is also an option. A locking differential, Modified cooling system with a second oil cooler, titanium exhaust system, a set of 370 mm steel discs by Mov’it, and an optional racing clutch and a set of 380 mm carbon ceramic units can be included.
