New BMW 5 Series Orders Exceed Target Sales

BMW had set a pretty good target for the sales of the revamped 5-Series released in March. But the good news is that the orders have even exceeded these expectations. Looks like the market is really excited for the 5 Series. The enormous support has continued to make BMW the largest and most sought after luxury car maker in the world. This will be a big help to increase BMW sales to more than 1.3 million cars in 2010.

Reithofer, CEO of BMW, is still not lax about the improvements in BMW sales. He believes that the economic crisis is not yet over. And they still have to double their efforts to recover what was lost last year. However, the forecasted sales for 2011 is pretty good. If BMW maintains the momentum, the targeted 8% increase in profit for 2012 will be easy to achieve.
