The BMW 1 Series M Coupe is indeed the hottest topic in the BMW world. All the speculations about how the car will look or what features it will carry will only end when BMW hosts the world premiere at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2011.
Automotive enthusiasts believe that the BMW 1 Series M Coupe will fit the standards of BMW purists as it symbolizes lightness, smallness, unbelievable driving dynamics, and pure connection between the driver and car – the core values of the BMW M brand.
The details of the car still remain a mystery. Even the official name of the paint used that Dr. Kay Segler describes as one that will make history, is still unknown to the masses. Rumor has it that this car will be capable of 345 horsepower thanks to an upgraded intercooler. Everyone still hopes that the rumors of the 1,500 kg weight are not true as this car needs to be lighter. If rumors are true, the BMW 1 Series M Coupe will sell at US$45,000.
