BMW to build X7 SUV at Spartanburg plant?

BMW will be announcing something exciting on March 28th at the press conference from the Spartanburg plant in South Carolina. Nothing has been confirmed yet but the rumors point to either an expansion of the existing plant or the creation of a new one that will accommodate existing and future models. This could also be an announcement of a new model. Among the list of potential new vehicles to be built in Spartanburg, the long-time rumored BMW X7 is the most rumored.

The BMW X7, if greenlighted, will feature a modern design, larger kidney grilles, massive front bumper with large air intakes and an elegant look from the side plus luxurious and spacious interior. Under the hood, the BMW X7 would most likely use the X6 engines, from a 3.0 liter six-cylinder powerplant to the 4.4 V8 with 555 horsepower.

Let’s all stay tuned on March 28th for the official announcement straight from Spartanburg.
