This was confirmed by M brand Manager for America, Mr. Matt Russell in an interview with TheDetroitBureau. This confirmation stops a lot of other rumors regarding its production. Though this does not confirm if there will be any 1M Cabrio in the future. The same publication also reports that BMW hints that a future update may be in the works.
