The third-generation midsize BMW X3 SUV has just been launched and here is the very first footage showing its features!
As seen in the footage, the design language is completely new from the exterior to the interior. It also gets a new chassis, new engines and the most recent technological features. It is one of the best refreshes that BMW has pulled off in a long time.
The exterior design is very modern, yet very distinctly a classic X3. It has its shoulder line kicking upward toward the Hofmeister Kink, which is a trademark of the X3s of the past. The design elements, including the Hofmeister itself, have been improved and made more aggressive.
Say goodbye to the connected headlights/Kidney Grilles of the previous X3. Now the grilles are super large and imposing on the road. The taillights are refreshed to show BMW’s traditional “L†shape more prominently.
It is better than ever with BMW’s new scalable lightweight architecture. This new X3 is lighter than before, stiffer than before and still maintains its perfect 50/50 weight distribution. There’s also the latest version of BMW’s intelligent xDrive all-wheel drive system.
