[Spy Photos] G20 BMW 3 Series Plug-In Hybrid

While we’re waiting for the BMW 3 Series to debut, let’s see a few spy photos of the model taken while it was out testing. The plug-in hybrid variant of the car was caught on these photos. We know it by two details – the extra fuel cap on the driver’s side and a sign that says “Hybrid Test Vehicle”.

Other interesting details can be noticed, too. For example, we see that the shift lever is new and looks similar to the one in the new M5. Next to it is what seems to be a new iDrive rotary dial. The trim and vents on the center console look similar to the ones on the X3.

Inspect the pictures yourself and let us know what you noticed. One thing is sure; the new 3er will be very different from its predecessor.
