MINI Cooper SD World Premiere at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show

A BMW insider reveals that the world premiere of the new MINI Cooper SD will be at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. This vehicle will be powered by an N47 turborcharged diesel engine delivering 143 horsepower and has a top speed of 135 mph. The engine is matted to a manual transmission which features Stop/Start technology as the standard. An automatic gearbox will also be available. The preliminary fuel consumption is at 66 mpg — which is a very impressive figure. More information including pricing and options is expected to be revealed before the Geneva Motor Show.
