BMW has an unusually candid way of describing the key difference between the old Z4, and the new. The old car, they now admit, was one to drive on a Sunday afternoon, but the new Z4 is a car to drive before the sun has come up and when there’s no one else around. With that in mind, here’s a review of the Z40i in prototype form by Auto Express. They take it for a spin on a deserted track.
