A 2012 BMW M5 prototype has been spotted in Beverly Hills, USA, most likely for some summer testing in Death Valley. The F10 M5 will be officially unveiled next month before it makes it debut at the Shanghai Motor Show. This vehicle is powered by a 4.4-liter V8 twin-scroll powerplant delivering 578 horsepower and 530 lb-ft of torque. It accelerates from 0-62 mph in 4.4 seconds. No official track times are available yet. These photos show the M5 sporting wider fenders and a more muscular and imposing look. The design features a lot of concave and convex shapes that increase its sporty appeal. Online teasers have appeared at the M-Power website so we can expect more in the next few weeks.
