The recent unveiling of the BMW i3 and i8 is only the start BMW’s i sub-brand. Rumor has it that more will come in the next few tears. BMW insider Scott27 reveals that BMW is already considering an i4, an i5 model, and a convertible i8. The same BMW insider reveals that the i4 is said to be based on the i3, a sportier version with 2-seats. It will most likely be a  small sporty vehicle with a plug-in electric or range-extended electric drivetrain. It will be offered in a cheaper price than the i8 to cater to those who are on a budget. The BMW i5 on the other hand will be a mid-sized four-door sedan with Coupe-like design cues, utilizing the engine of the i8. Both vehicle will be using advanced CFRP technology as well. The models are expected to launch in the next 8 years. Please do take these rumors with a grain of salt
