The BMW M4 Convertible is pitted against the new Tesla Model S P85D in a drag race. Is it a fair fight with the Model S P85D from Tesla outputs a total of 691 horsepower and 687 lb-ft of torque, available from zero RPM, and the M4 with a 3.0 liter inline-six engine outputting 425 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque? The Model S is much heavier though at 4,900 lbs versus 4,140 lbs for the M4 Convertible. Let’s take a look at this very close drag race.
