EVO Magazine reveals the UK pricing for the new BMW M3 GTS. The production will start on January 2011 and will end a month later in February. Only 15 cars will be exported to the UK. Each BMW M3 GTS will cost £115,215 with the 17.5% VAT. No-cost options include the sound unit and air conditioning.
It is definitely a lot more expensive compared to the standard M3 which costs £60,000, and the competing Porsche GT3 RS sold at £110,000.
The BMW M3 GTS is capable of 450 horsepower with its naturally aspirated, larger, and more powerful V8 engine. This powerplant is mated to an exclusive 7-speed M Dual Clutch Transmission with Drivelogic and modified suspension technology. Designed specifically for club sport use, it also has optimized aerodynamics and lightweight construction.
The BMW M3 GTS accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds and reaches the 1000 meter mark from a standstill in 22.5 seconds. Top speed is 305 km/h. But despite all these, it is a street-legal vehicle.
