BMW E34 M5 Convertible: Never Made it to Production

BMW Motorsport created this BMW E34 M5 convertible in 1989 with two lengthened front doors and a four seater. However, it never made it to production because they were afraid it might affect the 3 Series sales at that time. See this one-off vehicle in the video taken at the BMW M Facility in Garching:
