Update: We are getting rumors that a hard-top Kevlar Carbon folding roof would be used for the BMW M3 Convertible.
Puny spotted this thread over at Bimmerfest with regards to the upcoming 2008 BMW M3 specifications. Rumours put it at 426hp with a new V8 engine and it will appear at the IAA Frankfurt in September 2007. Press shots of the car have already been completed in Iceland and it’s next photoshoot destination is in Dubai. It is also rumoured the the convertible version of the BMW E92 M3 will come with a softtop, unlike the current BMW 3 Series Coupes right now.

This new BMW M3 will likely trounce it’s nearest current competitor, the Audi RS4. And we obviously can’t wait for that to happen. 🙂
