BMW M550d xDrive with 457 HP by Cartech

The BMW M550d xDrive presented in this post uses the tuned N57S engine in order to reach 457 HP and 888 Nm of torque. Not as bad for a 3.0-liter diesel engine!

BMW M550d xDrive

BMW recently reported that they will be replacing the N57S engine with the new one, which received mixed reactions. U.S. market is not too happy about it, but the Europeans are looking forward to it.

The current engine produces 381 HP and 740 Nm of torque (without any tuning work) thanks to the tri-turbo configuration it uses.

Besides the engine tuning, this BMW 550d xDrive model got a new set of HRE Wheels wrapped in Dunlop tires. The expected time for it to go from 0 to 100 km/h is around 4.5 seconds, as the standard version does it in 4.9 seconds.
