[Video] BMW E71 X6 M with 750 HP, Races Lamborghini Urus

Sighs of disbelief crawled up among performance automakers with the launch of the Lamborghini Urus. That seems to be Lamborghini’s success as nobody else can take on the claimed performance of the Urus at that time. It also raised a lot of questions to the automaker. One thing to look at aside from its performance figures on paper is what happens in the “wild.” The new BMW X6 M will demonstrate how it should be, as it takes on the new Lamborghini Urus. Check out this new video of the new BMW E71 X6 M as it goes head-to-head with the Lamborghini Urus from Drag Times Info.

We have seen in recent posts and videos what the current X6 M can do against the Urus. Results were pretty close. However, it is also hard to say that there is a clear winner between the two. But, maybe things can be a bit different when the first-generation of the M6 takes on the fight. Can the BMW E71 X6 M keep up with the proven outstanding performance of the Urus? The only way to find out is to put both cars on track. The stock version of the X6 might not work with the Lamborghini Urus. Luckily, we get to see an improved version of the BMW X6 M taking on the Urus this time.

The guys from Drag Times Info use a tuned BMW E71 X6 M. According to the listed stats in this video comes with a stock of 555 horsepower after leaving the factory. However, after massaging the 4.4 liters twin-turbo V8 engine, it can now make 750 horsepower, matched with an all-wheel-drive setup. What is even fascinating is that it now makes even more than the Urus. That does sound impressive enough. However, the specific E71 X6 uses an older technology than the Urus, referring to its gearbox.

The standard X6 M uses a 6-speed automatic transmission and is dated, unlike its current model and successor have. Its performance is not the same as how great the modern-day boxes can. Can its extra power possibly make up for the Urus? Check out this video to find out.
