BMW shows off its classy BMW M5 LCI amid rumors that its eighth-gen is well underway. This BMW M5 LCI looks amazing as it drives around the Nurburgring.
Even fans will agree that not all design choices of BMW are worth a thumbs up. However, the 5 Series G30 is one of their best-looking models. The classy BMW M5 LCI treats traditionalists with the absence of split headlights. Also, it does not have a gigantic kidney grille. Even though spy shots revealed that an eighth-gen sedan would soon arrive, BMW flaunts this lovely M5 at the Nurburgring.
This particular M5 joined the M8 Gran Coupe LCI at the BMW M Media test drive. The event happened during the 24-hour race weekend at the Nurburgring. Specifically, this M5 is the more aggressive Competition version. It is packed with a series of M Performance components. The AMG E63 competitor wears several carbon fiber upgrades such as its trunk lid spoiler. Also, it looks stunning in what seems like the Alvite Grey metallic paint.
A closer look at the Competition reveals more carbon fiber bits. It has a distinguished splitter at the front, side mirror caps, and a powerful diffuser on the rear. Alternatively, the M Performance Parts catalog has more components for the M5 than these. It offers carbon or chrome quad exhaust tips, motorsport-like racing stripes, and a carbon fuel filler cap.
The M5 Competition is now 5er’s top model after the retirement of the M5 CS. Besides, BMW already confirmed that the next-gen 5 Series G60 will roll in 2023. This model will also have a fully electric i5. On the other hand, the M5 G90 will have a plug-in hybrid configuration once it’s out in 2024.
With only spy shots and rumors available for the next 5er, let us enjoy first this lovely M5 Competition LCI.
