BMW G30 5 Series images leaked on the interwebs today, just a few hours before its unveil. These low resolution images show a really attractive design of the upcoming vehicle, with a more aggressive front fascia and softer corners compared to the one that came before it. The slimmed down headlights connecting with the outer edge of the kidney grille also give it a unique look.
The more masculine and dynamic look of the kidney grilles is noticeable. The front-end stands out with its large air intakes and daytime running lights.
The rear end looks similar to the 7 Series but the boot sits more upright, the lip more subtle, taillights long and slim, and it also has an interesting LED theme.
The 540i model shown in the leaked images feature trapezoidal exhaust tips which is usually seen in high-end models.
For the interior, a lot of the elements were taken from the G11/G12 7 Series including the same center console with chrome elements, a driver-oriented seating position, LCD screen and technology. As part of the M Sport Package, the car wears a thick steering wheel with chrome inserts.
These images leaked is just a peek at what BMW has in store for us. More information will be available in a few hours when the G30 5 Series finally makes it world preview, so stay tuned!
