The World Car Awards is an annual ceremony to announce the best cars in the world for different categories such as Performance Car of the Year, Green Car of the Year and World Luxury Car of the year, etc. This year, a lot of great cars have been nominated, including the new G30-generation BMW 5 Series for the World Luxury Car of the Year category.
The G30 has been very impressive thus far. It is a good combination of a high-quality interior, impressive advanced technology and has great driving dynamics. The responses that it has received from reviews have been overwhelmingly positive so far.
It is one of the three cars nominated for the World Luxury COTY award. The 5 Series is going against the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and Volvo S90. Each car have strong qualities that would really make this an interesting selection for the winner.
The World Car Awards will be held in Manhattan on April 12, opening the 2017 New York International Auto Show.
