2019 Launching of BMW M2 Gran Coupe

It’s been announced that in 2019 some of the 1 Series and 2 Series models will be cancelled, but there will be new ones. One of the first from this lineup is a new 2 Series Gran Coupe, or more precisely a BMW M2 Gran Coupe, the sporty car that will be the competition to the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 and Audi RS3.

M2 Gran Coupe

The Mercedes and Audi models have a front-wheel drive, while the new Gran Coupe will use a rear-wheel drive and a longitudinally mounted engine, just like the M2 Coupe does.

No visual details are yet revealed, but some things can be assumed. The BMW M2 Gran coupe will have the four-door coupe layout and a five-door liftback to choose from, or just the four-door option.

As for the technical specs, the BMW M2 Gran Coupe will feature a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine producing 365 HP and have either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dualclutch automatic transmission system.
