2018 BMW X3 to receive new BMW 5 and 7 Series features

The third iteration of the BMW X3 SUV will launch in 2017. This particular model is one of the best sellers of the German automaker. The G01 X3 will start production in August 2017 and will be sold in 2018. The new design language of this particular model will be resonated in the next cars that will be released by BMW. Some of the features will also be taken from the new BMW 5 and 7 Series.

Built on the new, rear-wheel drive flexible modular system, the SUV offers a lot more interior space and a redesigned seating system that increases comfort and variability. The cabin will have a more premium feel and advanced tech and features. Taking from the new 5 Series and 7 Series, the standard features and options list includes ambient air, ambient lighting, acoustic glass, gesture control and display key.

The SUV is 100 kg lighter than the predecessor, thanks to its lightweight construction processes. New colors will be available in the X3 range: Carbon Black and Pythonic Blue.
