The 2023 India Art Fair showcases a range of art and culture from across the country. This year’s edition features a special appearance from BMW, with a customized X7 LCI on display. The car was given a unique finish by local artist Devika Sundar, who won the “The Future is Born of Art” commission and titled her creation “Boundless.”

BMW claims that the X7’s exterior design “blends the human body, cosmos, and ocean into an imaginative universe.” “The winning X7 design was chosen via jury and public poll. It’s locally made in Chennai, available as xDrive40i or xDrive40d, on 21-inch wheels.

In addition to the customized X7, BMW is also showcasing its fully electric i7 xDrive60 and the 3 Series Gran Limousine at the art fair. The 3 Series received a facelift and was built at the same Chennai factory as the X7. Last year, BMW saw record sales in India with a 36.8% increase in deliveries to customers, and SUVs such as the X1, X3, X5, and X7 accounted for over 60% of total sales.

Overall, BMW had a successful year in India in 2022, with the core brand posting record sales. The X7 was among the most popular models, and the nearly forgotten 6 Series Gran Turismo also saw high demand. With the 2023 India Art Fair showcasing the unique X7 LCI and other exciting new models, it’s sure to be another great year for BMW in India.
