BMW has made a clear commitment to boosting its online car sales. The brand’s South Korean operations perfectly demonstrate the booming popularity of digital sales platforms. Each month brings the launch of exclusive, online-only special edition models. February will see the introduction of four such limited-edition vehicles.

BMW Korea exclusively offers the M2 G87, a rarity with only six units, featuring a carbon fibre roof and striking Toronto Red exterior. The interior shines with cognac leather and rich carbon trim, adding a sporty flair. This compact coupe, priced at about $67,500, comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission. However, calling it a special edition might be overstating. Its features mirror those available through the configurator, hinting at a more standard specification.

Despite the launch of the new model, BMW South Korea continues to offer a special edition pre-LCI M4. This fast M4 variant features xDrive and the Competition package. It boasts a Merino leather interior, detailed carbon fibre accents, and a Riviera Blue finish. Only four are for sale, each at $107,000, approximately 143 million won.

Next up, the 5 Series Sedan (G30) 520i comes with the M Sport Package Pro. It features darkened headlights, a black rear spoiler, red brake callipers, and a black kidney grille. Added perks include M Sport suspension, Harman Kardon audio, and unique seatbelts. BMW South Korea has eighty-two of these elegant saloons available for about $56,200, or 74.9 million won.

The 8 Series Gran Coupe, an M Performance-based M850i xDrive Individual Edition, concludes the lineup. This edition offers a choice of special colours: Carbon Black, Velvet Blue, Sepia Violet, Mint Green, and Midnight Sapphire. The luxurious interior includes a Bowers & Wilkins sound system, an anthracite headliner, piano black trim, and Individual Merino leather. BMW South Korea will release five units priced at 151.9 million won ($114,000), with one car available in each exclusive colour.
