BMW M4 GT3 EVO Powers To Podium Finish At Fuji Speedway

The BMW M4 GT3 EVO once again proved its competitive edge in the FIA World Endurance Championship with a strong drive at Fuji Speedway. Piloted by Augusto Farfus, Timur Boguslavskiy, and Yasser Shahin, the #31 car surged from 14th on the grid to secure a hard-fought third place. Their determined run was matched by the #46 entry of Valentino Rossi, Kelvin van der Linde, and Ahmad Al Harthy, which followed closely in fourth position.

In the Hypercar category, fortunes were mixed. The #20 Shell BMW M Hybrid V8 started from fifth after a standout qualifying performance but had to contend with a drive-through penalty and bouts of misfortune, eventually crossing the line in ninth. Meanwhile, the #15 car’s race ended prematurely after unavoidable incidents forced it into retirement.

Despite these setbacks, the weekend showcased the resilience of BMW M Motorsport. Both GT3 entries fought their way up the field with smart strategy and consistent pace, underlining the strength of teamwork within the squad. The Fuji result extends the podium streak for the BMW M4 GT3 EVO, further cementing its status as a reliable contender in endurance racing.

Attention now shifts to the final showdown in Bahrain, where the BMW crews will aim to finish the season on a high and continue their run of strong performances.
