BMW M Motorsport rolls into one of the most demanding weekends of its season as the Nürburgring 24 Hours kicks off in the Green Hell. Three BMW M4 GT3 EVOs will line up on the grid chasing back-to-back overall victories following the 2025 triumph, joined by the fan-favourite BMW M3 Touring 24H wearing fresh new livery. The 38-car BMW field promises plenty of action across the iconic Nordschleife, with an extensive support programme planned for fans and guests throughout the weekend.

Reigning champions ROWE Racing return with two BMW M4 GT3 EVOs in the hunt. Car #1, fielded by last year’s winners Augusto Farfus, Raffaele Marciello, and Kelvin van der Linde alongside Jordan Pepper, has already booked its place in Top Qualifying 3, the shootout for the first twelve grid slots, on the back of strong preparatory race results. The ROWE Racing #99 BMW M4 GT3 EVO, crewed by Dan Harper, Max Hesse, Sheldon van der Linde, and Dries Vanthoor, joins the Schubert Motorsport #77 of Philipp Eng, Robin Frijns, Charles Weerts, and Marco Wittmann in fighting for the remaining seven shootout places via Top Qualifying 1 and 2. Both squads warmed up with race wins in the Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie (NLS).
The BMW M3 Touring 24H stands out as the crowd’s clear favourite among the 38-strong BMW contingent. What started as an April Fool’s joke has matured into a genuine race winner, sweeping the SPX class in every preparatory outing and proving it can run with the GT3 machinery on outright pace. Connor De Phillippi, Ugo de Wilde, Jens Klingmann, and Neil Verhagen will share the cockpit, with the car contesting the 24-hour run in a fresh new design that’s bound to draw the cameras across the weekend.

For fans heading to the circuit, the BMW M3 Touring 24H, the BMW M4 GT3 EVO, and a host of other BMW race cars will make their major debut at the Adenauer Racing Day on Wednesday. BMW M and BMW M Motorsport will host an extensive paddock hospitality area for guests, while the BMW M Corso lapping the Nordschleife on Saturday before the race returns as a marquee event. Those who can’t make the trip can still soak up the action at BMW Welt in Munich, with public viewing across the weekend backed up by a sim racing challenge on Saturday evening and talks plus autograph sessions on Sunday featuring BMW M works driver Tim Tramnitz and Automotive Gaming driver Gregor Schill.
BMW M Motorsport boss Andreas Roos has framed the weekend as both a sporting and emotional summit for the team. Defending the number one plate places real pressure on the ROWE Racing #1 crew, with Raffaele Marciello calling last year’s victory one of the best days of his racing career. Sheldon van der Linde brings momentum from his recent FIA WEC win, while Robin Frijns expects the changeable forecast to add another layer of challenge to an already brutal 24-hour test. Jens Klingmann captures the spirit best, pointing to a stacked grid of more than 40 GT3 cars, the Mercedes SPX competitor of Max Verstappen, and the BMW M3 Touring 24H itself as ingredients for what could be one of the finest 24-hour races in years.
