Schubert Motorsport roared back to the Nürburgring Nordschleife in commanding fashion, piloting the #77 BMW M4 GT3 EVO to overall victory at NLS 3, the 57th Adenauer ADAC Circuit Trophy. BMW M works drivers Philipp Eng, Marco Wittmann and Robin Frijns shared the cockpit for the four-hour endurance battle through the legendary “Green Hell,” delivering a masterclass in strategy and pace that carried them from second on the grid to the top step of the podium.

From the moment the lights went out, the #77 machine was locked in among the front-runners and never dropped out of contention. A perfectly timed pit stop during a Code 60 period proved to be the decisive tactical manoeuvre, vaulting the car into the lead. From there, the trio managed their tyres and traffic with precision, crossing the finish line with a victory that doubles as a powerful statement ahead of the Nürburgring 24-hour race in mid-May.
Schubert Motorsport were not the only BMW runners making an impact on the day. The privately entered #23 BMW M4 GT3 EVO from Gamota Racing delivered a standout drive, with Antal Zsigo, Moritz Kranz and David Jahn steering the machine to sixth place overall and first in the SP9 Pro-Am class. Further down the grid, the BMW M4 GT4 EVO locked out the top two positions in the SP10 category courtesy of AV Racing by BLACK FALCON, while Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport took the BMW M2 class and Adrenalin Motorsport Team Mainhattan Wheels topped the BMW M240i category. In total, BMW teams collected an impressive nine class victories.

Speaking after the race, Wittmann hailed the result as a significant milestone for both the team and tyre partner Yokohama, calling it the ideal springboard for continued 24-hour race preparations. Eng echoed the sentiment, noting the wealth of data gathered over the four hours that will prove invaluable in the weeks ahead. Frijns, who completed his first full race distance in the BMW M4 GT3 EVO, credited the team’s sharp strategy as the decisive factor, acknowledging that outright pace alone did not win the day. Team Principal Torsten Schubert pointed to the squad’s growing versatility, having followed up an SPX class win with the BMW M3 Touring 24H at the previous round with this commanding overall triumph.
With the 24-hour race now firmly in its sights, Schubert Motorsport leaves the Nordschleife carrying momentum, data and a trophy. The BMW M4 GT3 EVO has proven it can go the distance in the most demanding arena in motorsport, and the partnership with Yokohama looks to be firing on all cylinders as the biggest endurance test of the season draws closer.
