MINI’s big reveal in early September showcased the 2024 Countryman lineup, with a strong focus on the electric SE ALL4 model. However, official images of the high-performance John Cooper Works (JCW) variant popped up on a regional site, albeit without the customary fanfare from the BMW Group brand. Here’s a twist – you can now start configuring it in Germany!
MINI Deutschland has activated the configurator for the 2024 Countryman. You can’t customize the electric model at this point, but you can personalize the gasoline-fueled options. You can choose between the standard model, offering 168 horsepower (125 kilowatts), or the high-powered JCW with 296 hp (221 kW).
The JCW model bears the label of an ALL4, signifying its all-wheel drive capability, much like the BMW X1 M35i and X2 M35i. The top-of-the-line Countryman features a distinctive quad exhaust system and is available in four colours: Melting Silver III, Nanuq White, Legend Grey, and Midnight Black Metallic. Roof options are red, black, or to match the body colour, with the option to add green or red hood stripes. Wheels come in two options – a 19-inch black set and a 20-inch two-tone set, with or without performance tires.
Inside, you’ll find an all-black interior with red stitching. MINI offers Package L and Package XL, each bundling a range of enhancements. The JCW Performance Brake Kit for the 20-inch wheel-equipped model enhances both style and performance. German MINI enthusiasts can now look forward to configuring and the official release of the 2024 JCW Countryman ALL4.
