Equipped with a two-litre diesel engine, the Countryman D extends the MINI drive options. Customers have a full range of advanced technologies alongside electric and gasoline engines. The 48-volt mild hybrid system supports braking energy recovery and boosts performance, enhancing low-speed response and overall efficiency.

The quiet diesel engine, with a combined fuel consumption of 4.9 — 4.6 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 127 — 120 g/km, delivers 120 kW/163 hp, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds. The direct steering and sophisticated suspension system provide the signature MINI go-kart feeling.

Four trim variants highlight the MINI Countryman D’s purist design. In Favoured Trim and Midnight Black metallic, the wide, upright stance and octagonal front grille create a strong visual impact. Short overhangs emphasize the vehicle’s agility, while the C-pillar and piano black roof rails enhance its practicality. Light alloy wheels are available in sizes from 17 to 21 inches.

Inside, increased dimensions offer greater comfort. The driver and front passenger enjoy additional shoulder and elbow space, while the adjustable rear seats provide extra legroom or cargo space, with the trunk volume expanding to 1460 litres. New textile surfaces and a panoramic glass roof add to the interior’s homely feel.

The central cockpit instrument is a 240 mm round OLED display, which enables intuitive control of infotainment and assistance systems via touch or voice. The MINI Experience Modes offer an immersive driving experience through visual, lighting, and sound design elements. For the first time, Driving Assistant Plus offers partially automated Level 2 driving on highways, allowing hands-free driving up to 60 km/h while the driver remains attentive.
