The 2024 BMW X5 xDrive40i underwent substantial design and technology enhancements this year. The exterior boasts a fresh look with updates at the front and rear. Inside, there’s a new gauge cluster and centre screen. BMW Operating System 8 is now a standard feature, elegantly displayed on a curved screen that combines driver instrumentation and infotainment functions.
The 2024 BMW X5 xDrive40i showcases updates such as an illuminated grille, slimmer headlights, and a fresh rear fascia with revised taillights. A revised dashboard and centre console complement the new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Under the hood, the 2024 BMW X5 xDrive40i packs a punch with a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 engine delivering 375 horsepower and 340 lb-ft of torque – a significant increase from the previous year. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, this model accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.3 seconds, with a top speed of 150 mph. The 2024 X5 xDrive40i also features a new 48-volt mild-hybrid system, adding 12 horsepower and substantially improving fuel economy, a perfect blend of power and efficiency.
