BMW M is expanding its digital ecosystem with a new suite of in-car applications designed to bring drivers closer to their vehicles. These features are integrated directly into the central display and aim to deliver deeper access to performance data, vehicle behaviour and brand-specific content, reinforcing the technical focus of M models.

At the core of the update is an app that presents detailed real-time information covering powertrain, chassis and driving dynamics. Drivers can configure multiple display layouts, allowing key data to be viewed exactly as they prefer. This level of personalisation turns the cabin into a more informative driving environment without overwhelming the interface.
Another addition is a performance measurement tool built around straight-line acceleration data. Using GPS-based inputs, it records reaction times and speed intervals, presenting results clearly on screen. Designed for controlled environments, it adds an analytical layer for drivers interested in understanding how their car performs under load.

Rounding out the offering is a dedicated media channel tailored for BMW M owners. It provides access to curated video content, including technical explainers, motorsport features and brand stories, making downtime during charging or breaks more engaging while staying closely aligned with M culture.
Beyond the car itself, BMW is also enhancing its smartphone app by introducing a dedicated M community. This space connects owners with exclusive content, events and shared experiences, strengthening the link between drivers, their cars and the wider BMW M network.
